Ingredients :

  • 🥩 500g of beef (fillet or sirloin)
  • 🧅 1 onion
  • 🍄 200g of button mushrooms
  • 🧄 1 clove of chopped garlic
  • 🥛 200 ml of thick fresh cream
  • 🍅 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 🍷 100 ml of dry white wine
  • 🫒 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions :

  1. Prepare the ingredients 🥩🍄 :

    • Cut the beef into thin strips. Finely chop the onion 🧅, slice the mushrooms 🍄, and mince the garlic 🧄.
  2. Sear the beef 🔥 :

    • Heat a stainless steel pan over high heat with a tablespoon of olive oil 🫒. Sear the beef strips for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
  3. Cook the vegetables 🍳 :

    • In the same pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil 🫒 and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the mushrooms and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the sauce 🥛🍅 :

    • Add the tomato paste 🍅 to the pan, then deglaze with the white wine 🍷. Let it reduce slightly.
    • Stir in the crème fraîche and mix well to obtain a smooth sauce.
  5. Assemble the dish 🥩🍄 :

    • Return the beef strips to the pan and simmer over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve 🍽️ :

    • Garnish with fresh parsley 🌿 and serve hot, accompanied by pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.
